The Bedrock team at Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is looking for you to join our team as a Software I&T Engineer Lead based out of Redondo Beach, CA.
What You'll get to Do:
We are looking for a software I&T engineer on the Bedrock Program. Applicant will be working through the early development stage to create test approaches, drivers, automated testing scripts and eventually support verification, deployment. Systems deployed are Linux based and targeted for various cloud and virtual infrastructures. Opportunity to learn to execute remote testing and potential site travel opportunities, but not required. Preferred skilled set includes ability to troubleshoot software and code in scripting language (Python, Java, Perl).

You'll Bring These Qualifications:
- 9 years of System Engineering experience with a Bachelors of Science in a STEM discipline; 7 years of System Engineering experience with Masters; 4 Years with a PhD
- Active DoD Top Secret with an SSBI within the last 6 years
- Candidate must be an experienced SW integration and tester with experience in Perl and Java/C in a Red Hat Enterprise Linux environment
- Strong diagnostic/problem solving skills
- Experience with cloud/virtual infrastructures
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
- Active SCI
- Demonstrated ability to implement process improvements, streamline activities, and develop efficiencies
- Excellent communication and organizational skills; strong interpersonal and analytic skills
- Previous in-depth domain knowledge of program software engineering and test automation preferred
- Preferred skilled set includes ability to troubleshoot software and code in scripting language (Python, Java, Perl).
