Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems sector is seeking an Associate Industrial Security Analyst to join our exciting and diverse team. Various positions will be located in El Segundo and Redondo Beach, CA.  The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Security Team supporting various security related activities and have a unique opportunity to grow into a security professional.
 
The activities include: studying and implementing federal security regulations (DoD SAP Volumes/National Industrial Security Program Operation Manual); becoming familiar with DoD 254 administration; learning about company security policies/procedures and databases; understanding how USG compliance works; preparing site wide communications related to security education; assisting physical security with various tasks associated with their respective site; and developing on the job through challenging assignment in a fast paced environment, and interaction with existing security personnel.
 


Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
 
A candidate, regardless of age and hiring source, must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:
  • U.S. Citizen
  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • 0-3 years of DoD Security experience
  • Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Government security clearance at the DoD Secret or Top Secret level

Preferred Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Active Final DoD Secret clearance
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and follow projects through completion 
  • Ability to maintain flexibility to deal with changing priorities and deadlines
  • Relevant security experience
