Position Summary:

The Customer Service Representative will be responsible for managing assigned customer accounts to ensure accurate order entry and scheduled delivery. In addition the CSR will be handling distributor inquiries, communicating with co-packers and logistics providers and may be responsible for offering support to the Logistics staff as well. This position requires an individual who has the ability to multi-task, be organized, work in a fast paced environment and who can seamlessly transition to the day-to-day demands and changes of the Customer Service Department.

Essential Job Functions: 

  • Work efficiently and accurately
  • Pays attention to detail
  • Data entry and account management
  • Taking distributor inquiries via telephone and email
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment
  • Interact with a multitude of internal areas including Sales, Transportation, Production Planning, Inventory Control, and Accounting
  • Interact with a multitude of external customers including Carriers, Distributors, Brokers, and Warehouse facilities.
  • Work independently and excellent time management
  • Ensure customer orders are delivered on time and communicate to customer if there is a delay
  • Utilizing SAP system on a daily basis
  • Other duties as assigned by Customer Service Manager

Position Requirements: 

  • SAP experience preferred
  • Previous customer service experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Must be able to understand issues, help create solutions
  • Superior attention to detail
  • Positive attitude, self-motivated and ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent multi-tasking and organizational skills
  • Microsoft Office
