Guest Services - Observatory Orange County

As part of the Guest Services team, ushers are responsible for providing excellent guest services during all events. This includes greeting guests, providing information and directions, assisting with problems/issues, and controlling ticket access points throughout the venue.
What You Need:
At least one (1) year prior customer service experience, preferably in a theatre/entertainment venue environment
Must be able to work holidays and weekend (Friday/Saturday/Sunday) events throughout the year
Shift schedules vary, must be available to work from both day and night shifts if applicable,
Must be able to work 5:00pm-midnight during the week
Must be able to stand for a minimum of 6 to 8-hour shifts, walk up and down stairs
Friendly, outgoing, and presentable with the ability to think quickly in a fast-paced environment and communicate effectively
What You’ll Do:
Adapt to guest needs ensuring they are understood, and appropriate action is taken to meet and exceed their expectations
Confer with customers to provide information about venue, events or services, or obtain details of complaints, and take actions as designated by department supervisors and manager
Answer questions to help resolve guest concerns and complaints through analysis to determine the most effective resolution, referring unresolved customer grievances to designated Supervisor or Manager for further investigation
