This position manages and coordinates the activities of employees engaged in coating preparation and two paper machines.
This role is responsible for the safety and operation of each of these areas, system implementation, regulatory compliance, efficiency improvements and customer performance.

The Superintendent must have a solid knowledge of coated paper machines and understands steps to achieve top level operations efficiency.
This individual will also be responsible for managing and controlling costs, as well as ensuring the reliability of the operation. Successful candidate empowers employees and leads the implementation of processes and systems designed to stabilize and improve the manufacturing processes and quality.
A key role for the Superintendent will be to teach, coach and actively develop salaried and hourly team members.
Qualifications:
Successful candidate will have a deep knowledge of paper mill operations, including coating operations, and have five or more years of manufacturing experience.
Prior machine supervisory experience is a requirement, as well as a good understanding of system implementation and sustainability.
Engineering degree or equivalent along with excellent people skills is required.
Manufacturing Excellence certification and/or experience is a plus.
