Job Title: Brand Manager 

 

Status: Full-Time  

 

Reports to: VP of Brand 

 

Location: Irvine, CA 

 

Travel: 20-25%

 

 

 

Job Description 

 

Incipio Group is looking for a Brand Manager to join our growing team. The Brand Manager will have a passion for our products, brands and technology. We are looking for someone who understands the brand guidelines and goals and champions the brand throughout all engagements. The ability to properly prioritize work flow and thrive in a busy and dynamic work environment is a must. The ideal candidate will be able to devise high-level brand strategies for domestic and international sales and distribution, go-to-market launches and work with cross-functional teams to implement. This candidate must be able to engage professionally in customer meetings in order to achieve maximum potential for the business and act in a brand champion role to help engage sales staff, cross functional teams, and customers. 

 

 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

 

o Develop Strategic Roadmap for brand, in partnership with Product Management and VP of Brand. 

 

o Monitor brand PnL and make pricing, distribution, product and roadmap decisions/suggestions with overall business goals in mind.  

 

o Ability to identify weaknesses or threats to profitability and/or brand/business objectives and quickly pivot. 

 

o Analyze pricing of products and potential profitability.  

 

o Initiate Go-To-Market strategy for new product/brand launches in partnership with marketing   

 
     
  •  Inclusive of sell in materials, brand catalogs/decks and messaging.   
  •  
 

o Develop sales strategy and product segmentation globally throughout retail, carrier, CE, travel, lifestyle and distribution channels. 

 

o Act as the internal and external brand champion.   

 
     
  • Escalation point for cross-functional alignment related to brand.

o Additional duties as assigned 

 

  

 

Qualifications: 

 

o Bachelor’s degree required 

 

o 3-5 years’ experience 

 

o Strong analytical skills 

 

o Ability to think strategically, engage with confidence and possess strong leadership skills  

 

o Exhibit a professional and courteous demeanor at all times 

 

o Open to travel when business calls for it 

 

o Good listener, able to respond to results and consumer research 

 

o Strong organizational and administrative skills 

 

o Excellent communication skills Express passion about the work, product, and brands
