Head Start - IT Data Specialist

What We're Looking For:
We are seeking a Head Start Data Specialist who will be responsible for supporting and administering the Head Start application. S/he provides instructions, advises system users, troubleshoots and analyzes problems/issues relating to the information system software. The Data Specialist coordinates usage to service area users and ensure compliance with legal and administrative requirements. Other requirements include:
- Ability to manage database applications, SQL, create reports, and extract data as needed.
- Experience with ChildPlus and Learning Genie or other early childhood assessment tool applications.
- Ability to evaluate and translate our business needs into software requirements.
- Able to effectively navigate and provide support for Office 365 and SharePoint.
EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES YOU SHOULD POSSESS:
Position requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
At least two to three years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience is desired.
Familiarity with Microsoft Windows operating systems.
Familiarity with desktop products including Microsoft Office.
Knowledge of Child Care Licensing Regulations and Head Start Performance Standards and best practices related to systems tracking, is desired.
