    Professional Requirements

    Position Summary:

    Reporting to the Director of Education Services, this position coordinates and assists other health team members in providing care for patients with disorders of the integumentary gastrointestinal, and genito-urinary systems. This includes assisting staff and physicians in managing the care of patients with complex pressure injuries, draining wounds, fistulas, ostomies, and incontinence. A key role for this position also includes direct patient/family education as well as educating, coaching and providing resources to other health team members as they educate patients/family/significant others in patient care management and related discharge planning.


    Position Requirements:

    • Graduate of an Associate Degree or Diploma Nursing program; BSN Preferred.
    • Completion of an accredited Enterostomal Therapy Training program, WCN, WOCN, WCC, CWS, CWCN or CWOCN certification required.
    • Current CA RN license..
    • Current BLS certification.
    • Hospital Fire Card.

    Language Skills:

    • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.


    • One year in medical/surgical or specialty area
