Job Title: Loan Support Specialist

Department: Mortgage Banking Division

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Reports to: Mortgage Operations Manager

Full/Part Time Status: Full-Time

Work Location: Los Angeles, CA

Travel Requirement: 0-10%

 

Education & Experience

Minimum Education Level: Associate’s Degree

Computer/Systems Knowledge Requirements

Microsoft Outlook: Advanced

Responsibilities & Duties

 

  • Generate ‘Welcome and PreDoc Call” report from Encompass. Filter out all the loans that are blank in the Application Received column.
  • Complete a Welcome Call for all loans that are blank under welcome call completed column and have a loan status of ‘send to processing’ or higher by reading the prepared Welcome Call script.
  • Complete a pre-doc call for all loans that are blank under Pre-Doc call completed column and have a loan status of ‘approved’ or higher by reading the prepared Pre-Doc call script.
  • Record notes from the call in Encompass, under forms, BOH Welcome/Pre-Doc Call. If the borrowers do not answer leave a message reading from the script and a follow up call must be placed. If the borrowers have any questions/concerns or the information conflicts with what is in Encompass, the loan officer, the loan officers assist, the processor and the Operations Manager must be notified immediately by email.
  • Send an email with the Welcome and PreDoc Call report to Janette Mah, Cynthia Reyes, and Johnny Bowen every Friday for review.

Job Qualifications/Requirements

·         Preferred: Two years’ college education in business related field or equivalent knowledge.

·         Preferred: Three to five years’ experience in residential lending field preferred.

·         Preferred: Proficiency in State and Federal regulatory requirements in a multi-state residential lending environment.

·         Preferred: Ability to manage multiple tasks, projects and deadlines simultaneously.

·         Preferred: Effective verbal and written communication skills.

·         Preferred: Strong organizational skills with a willingness to adapt to change as needed in a fast-paced environment.

·         Preferred: Ability to effectively work with department team members and other stakeholders.
