Job: Part Time Merchandiser

The Gallo Wine Company, a distributor of E&J Gallo Winery brands, is currently seeking merchandisers for immediate positions in the Southern California area.

Merchandisers are responsible for assisting Chain Sales Representatives in the areas of servicing and merchandising in large retail accounts within Southern California. Building displays will involve routinely lifting wine cases, weighing approximately 45 pounds, therefore sufficient strength and stamina are required. Hours could be late nights or early mornings.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Merchandising product in order to stimulate impulse sales through effective use of P.O.S., shelf and cold box management, cross merchandising and mass display merchandising
2. Building new and servicing existing displays
3. Managing Gallo back stock and restocking shelves
4. Product upkeep through dusting and rotation
5. Carrying out verbal instructions from appropriate management staff
6. Maintaining accurate reports and adhering to Gallo Sales Company policies and procedures
7. Projecting a professional appearance while being friendly and helpful

• $12 per hour
• Up to 32 hours a week
