Job: Activity Director

Looking for an experienced Activity Director at Corona Care Retirement, 125 beds Assisted Living.

References, related training and certification is REQUIRED.
Activities calendar and newsletter design and implementation a must!

This position requires a creative, energetic, fun loving, interactive, compassionate and motivated person. An excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with the elderly and can create ways for residents to participate in activities.

Activities job responsibilities include: design and conduct individual and group activities for residents on a daily basis as well as special community events reflecting monthly themes with recreational programs. Observe residents on an ongoing basis, evaluate effectiveness and resident enjoyment. Offer new creative ideas, outings, facilitate social interactions. Arrange for utilization of community resources and entertainments.
