Job: Hospitality Servers/Host

Forest Home operates three distinct Christian camp sites in Southern California: MILL CREEK CANYON, THE WOODLANDS and OJAI VALLEY. Each site is a year-round, interdenominational, non-profit ministry serving 144 programs to 40 denominations and over 50,000 men, women and children annually.

Would you like to be apart of one the most dynamic ministry teams? If so, we are currently looking for Servers & Host who can provide general support to our Food Service Department with an emphasis on hospitality.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Provides service in a friendly and courteous manner.

Maintains assigned dining room in a neat, clean, safe and attractive manner.

Sets up dining room for guest service which may include linens, table setting and buffet table service.

Performs food preparation as necessary for snack orders and Firs Dining Room.

Responsible for special serving activities.

Performs other duties as assigned by the Hospitality Supervisor.

May perform duties of dishwasher, basic food preparation, or pantry as assigned.

Attends meetings and training sessions as assigned.

Actively supports and participates in staff spiritual life activities, including Staff Devotions and Staff Retreat.

Actively supports and participates in spiritual life activities.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Working towards high school diploma or equivalent.

Must be a self-starter.

Must demonstrate the ability to perform high quality, detailed work.

Must seek to develop capabilities in the area of basic food preparation.

Must have excellent people service skills, with the ability to provide service and streamline processes without compromising the integrity of the department or Forest Home and its policies and procedures.

Demonstrate regular, timely attendance.

Maintains a Christianly walk.

Maintains a Christ-like attitude of service with the intent of blessing others in the name of Christ.
