We are currently looking for friendly, outgoing candidates to fill an entry-level property management position as a Leasing Administrator at our Villa Venetia property in Marina del Rey. This position relies heavily on sales and customer service skills. Job Duties include but are not limited to: - Leasing apartment homes - Answering incoming calls - Greeting future and current residents - Scheduling sales appointments - Presenting the available rental units through personal tours - Assisting in marketing in the community and generating traffic - Following up on inquiries - Preparing leases and move-in paperwork - Completing reference checks on potential residents - Assisting with weekly and monthly reports - Monitoring curb appeal - Overseeing office and model appearance and signage - Administering resident referral and resident retention programs - Responding to resident questions - Resolving complaints - Performing other administrate and sales duties All team members will work directly with the public and must maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance. Requirements
Knowledge and Experience: The ideal candidate will have beginning to intermediate sales, customer service, or apartment management education and/or equivalent experience. Must possess effective verbal and written communication skills in English, and the ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Requires a high level of organizational and time-management skills. Must have the ability to read and decipher various computerized and written documents or reports related to the responsibilities of the position. Position requires beginning to intermediate level of mathematics and the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions with suggested resolution. Must be able to physically and visually inspect apartment units and landscaping. To perform this job successfully, an individual should have beginner to intermediate knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, Excel spreadsheet software, and the internet. Candidate must also possess typing and calculator skills. Important Notes
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk and sit. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
