Monarch HealthCare is currently searching for an energetic professional to join our Customer Service department as our new Customer Service Representative. In this direct customer contact role you will be responsible for answering 80 plus incoming calls, e-mails, and letters from members, health plan providers and provider offices. In addition you will be tasked with assisting in marketing and member retention efforts and making outbound welcome calls to new members.

* Experience within a customer service call center environment.
* Pleasant manner on the telephone and the ability to speak and communicate clearly.
* Ability to answer customer’s questions on the telephone or online in a courteous, respectful and professional manner.
* Ability to handle problems and resolve matters effectively through interaction with internal departments and/or external contacts.
* Ability to manage time effectively with minimal supervision.
* Computer and internet skills with the ability to type at least 35 words per minute.
* HMO experience desired.
* Claims experience is preferred.
