We are hiring for: Floral Managers

Uses both hands to handle plants, balloons, garden supplies and artificial flower arrangements. Stocks area daily with plants, balloons, garden supplies and artificial arrangements. Waters all plants. Designs floral arrangements with or without customer input. Cleans the floral department area. Takes inventory of all incoming stocks and supplies.

Cleans and prepares flowers for display. Decorates plants with bows, wrap and ribbon. Inflates balloons for display and special orders. Checks plants for condition and inventory purposes. Prices plants and arrangements. Prepares and maintains displays of outdoor plants. Removes garbage and debris from floral area and maintains out side floral area.

Operates cash register to total bill and make change. Trains, supervises, schedules and assigns duties to floral clerks. Follows division guidelines for the implementation for the merchandising program. Rotates product and removes out of date product, damaged product daily. Changes signs and prices as directed by merchandising. Inventories floor and cooler stock daily.

Writes floral order in the order guide book. Checks order for the completeness upon arrival. Responsible for maintaining appropriate stock in inventory in the floral area. May arrange for delivery or deliver plants or flowers locally.

1. Ability to follow company customer service procedures. Demonstrated prior customer service skills or related experience.
2. Ability to interact with customers and co-workers.
3. Ability to understand and follow instructions.
5. Ability to work independently.
6. Desired: Prior experience as a manager.
7. Desired: Prior experience with floral designs, balloons or garden supplies.

Shift work to include: weekdays, weekends, and varied schedules - Reflected by store operational needs.
