We are hiring for Meat Clerks

Wrap meat, merchandise, customer service, handle meat & seafood. May perform some trimming of product. Also, will grind product & clean the department.

About the Meat & Seafood Department:
Become part of the team that offers our customers some of our best-selling products, including 100% guaranteed tender Rancher's Reserve Beef. You will deal directly with customers and answer questions on everything from grilling to nutrition. Our highly skilled Meat Cutters are trained here to prepare the outstanding quality cuts that Safeway has built its reputation on. The Seafood experts at Safeway knowledgeably assist customers with information on our variety of products from around the world.

We are looking for friendly, enthusiastic individuals who enjoy giving our customers the best shopping experience. With over 1,700 stores across the U.S. and Canada, operating as Safeway, Vons, Pavilions, Dominick's, Carrs/Safeway, Randalls, Tom Thumb and Genuardi's, the job possibilities are endless.

Must have excellent customer service and be able to work in a fast paced environment. Cash handling skills are a plus. Maintaining a clean work area.
