We are hiring for General Merchandising Clerk

Works in the Grocery Merchandising/HBC department of our grocery store handling mostly non-grocery items. Worker is responsible for maintaining stock in the display areas. Views display areas daily to determine stock needed. Transports stock from storage area using six wheeler, pallet jack or grocery cart. Opens containers or boxes, removes merchandise and stocks on store shelves.

Shelves are periodically faced and organized. Shelves are dusted. Stock area and variety display areas are kept clean and neat. Trains, supervises, schedules and assigns duties to GM/HBC Clerks. Follows division guidelines for the implementation of the merchandising program. Rotates product and removes out of date product daily.

Changes signs and prices as directed by merchandising. Inventories floor stock daily. Writes GM/HBC order. Checks order for completeness upon arrival. Responsible for maintaining appropriate stock in the inventory in the GM/HBC area.
