Job: Catalog Jr. Production Artist

Opportunity:
- Junior Production/Development position in the Art/Catalog Department

Required Computer Skills:
- Adobe InDesign
- Adobe Illustrator
- Adobe Photoshop
- Expressions Media
- Quark Xpress
- MS Office

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Responsible for assisting in the building of catalogs for each season.
- Review proofs of printed copy and art and copy materials.
- Review material to determine if it conforms to standards and specifications.
- Streamline the production process and continuously push the boundaries of our graphical look.
- Work directly with Senior production artists.
- Work closely with Catalog Manager, sales, design and art to ensure all line books are correct, on time and of good quality.
- Create custom lay outs or other graphic elements.
- Complete layouts and write instructions to prepare materials for printing.
- Meet with Design teams to update them on CAD template changes/specs.
- Research and development ideas for future seasons. (treatments, paper stock, bindery, etc.)

• Task oriented with the strong ability to prioritize and balance multiple projects
• Ability & desire to learn new technology
• Digital Photography skill a plus
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Desired Experience:
- 1+ years of Print Catalog Development/Linesheet Building (Preferably in the Action Sports Industry)
