Job Title: Sr. SAP HCM Systems Analyst

Typical Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will perform process maintenance activities for the Center for Continuous Improvement (CCI) Human Capital Management (HCM) Employee Data/Organization Management/Hire business sub process operation. This includes monitoring business process performance, identification and execution of business process optimization, and evaluation of SAP capabilities. In addition this position is expected to lead resolution to critical issues and mentor mid level maintenance resources.
Typical responsibilities will include: ensuring operational maintenance and development activities for a given process area; performing defect remediation for their assigned area and identify cross-process impacts; reviewing and conducting analysis of daily production reports and queues; ensuring operational processes are running to design specifications; assuring optimization of operational performance; reviewing findings and looking for and identifying opportunities to improve business process performance (cost, quality, customer satisfaction, etc); implementing their respective process and system changes, including system configuration and testing; performing and facilitating user acceptance of system and processes through testing and monitoring and reporting on adherence to prescribed business process procedures; supporting the development of process changes through identification of Functional Design Specifications and Business Requirements; working in projects or standalone assignments with a customer or a solution in collaboration with process and system owners; leading resolution to critical operational issues; establishing standards and best practices in their area of competency; mentoring and coaching the mid level support resource; supporting evaluation of upgrades and future product enhancements; and performing other duties and responsibilities as assigned.


Skills / Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
Must possess business or SAP systems experience with one or more of the following Human Resources practice areas: Employee Data, Organization Management, or Hire.

Core Competencies:
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Human Resources, Business or a related field or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Typically possesses twelve or more years of experience defining system requirements, project scope, and performing cost benefit analysis.
- Typically possesses six or more years experience in project lifecycle methodology, including design, development/configuration, testing, and deployment.
- Demonstrated experience analyzing transactional activity, defining system requirements, determining root cause of transaction errors, and implementing system or process solutions.
- Demonstrate experience interfacing effectively and collaborating with clients, peers, vendors, and management to develop solutions and ensure stakeholder buy-in.
- Demonstrated experience identifying cross functional strategic impacts from a business, as well as a system perspective.
- Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills, and be customer focused, to understand and appropriately respond to clients' business needs, and facilitate the presentation of recommendations.
- Demonstrated ability to accurately analyze information and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Demonstrate the ability to take initiative and accountability for achieving results.
- Demonstrated problem/conflict management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Must demonstrate excellent business mastery, including the ability to integrate work across relevant areas, manage risks and safety appropriately, develop and execute business plans, manage information, and provide exceptional service to internal and external customers.
- Must demonstrate excellent management mastery, including effective resource and project planning, results delivery, team building, and staying current with relevant technology and innovation.
- Must demonstrate strong personal mastery, including ethics, influence and negotiation, leadership, interpersonal skills, the ability to effectively manage stress and engage in continuous learning.
