We are looking for a Cook to work at our Residential Treatment Center. This is an entry level position located at our Yucaipa facility. The candidate must be able to work with little to no supervision and still be efficient. Trinity Youth Services is a premier provider of programs and services to children and families throughout the Inland Empire. We seek team members with a genuine commitment to the empowerment of at-risk children and their families, and a willingness to work in a highly demanding, fast paced environment, which requires dedication and a desire to provide positive role models for the children in our care. Position Summary: A minimum of 3 years experience in a institutional setting is strongly preferred. Work with boys ages 11-17 years old. Under the direction of the Shift Manager, the Cook is responsible for cooking meals according to the menus, posting menus, assisting with labeling food, using the correct food quantity and recipes to prepare the meal(s), and maintaining all safety standards, food handling health standards, and all local, county, and state health requirements Skills / Requirements

Must be 21 yrs old or older; A High School graduate of GED equivalent; good organizational skills and be able to make decisions in a firm, timely and equitable manner. Must have a positive interest in the care and developmental needs of our clients; Excellent communication skills, organizational and time management skills. Be able to manage multiple tasks at one time in an efficient manner. The application process: Successful completion and clearance of all the following procedures is required.
