The candidate will be responsible for the management and supervision of multiple neighborhood shopping centers in southern California. Centers will range from 100,000 SF to 1 million SF.
With the supervision of the Regional Director, duties and responsibilities include: • Preparing and implementation of the annual budget; • Supervision of Assistant Manager, administrative personnel and on-site contractors; • Supervision and direct collection of rent; • Preparation, billing and collection of year-end CAM reconciliations; • Preparation of monthly reports; • Interaction with tenants and vendors; • Interaction with local municipalities; • Interaction with leasing team and outside brokerage community; • Direct communication with owners and lenders; Skills / Requirements
College degree preferred, but not required. Concentration in Accounting, Business or Communications preferred. Professional designation a plus (CPM, CSM)
At least 5 years as a Property Manager within professional services environment, preferably retail or shopping center industry related. Strong leadership and communication skills; management and strategic planning experience; a proven track record in direct management of large open air retail project with multiple national and regional tenants. Must be a self-starter, highly organized, resourceful and able to work well with a variety of merchants and vendors. Polished presentation and interpersonal skills. Must possess top level business management, interpersonal, and facilitation skills. Needs strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows-based computer applications (Excel and Word a must).
