Typical Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will work/support a wide variety of Supply Chain related projects across the department. He/she will be working in an environment of changing multiple projects, and working independently to produce work that can be incorporated into a larger team owned project. Typical job responsibilities will include: developing and utilizing supply chain tools and methodologies of moderate to complex nature to support cost evaluations including value-add assessments, market analyses/trends, supplier performance, business case analysis, metrics and other operational reporting requests; leading or participating in researching internal and external data sources to collect, analyze and report a variety of Supply Chain related statistics; developing a structured approach to analyzing a topic, extracting relevant applications, and compiling findings into summary documents/recommendations using Excel, Access, Visio, PowerPoint and Word; and performing other duties as assigned.


Skills / Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
Must have experience in utilizing commodity indices to perform contract price evaluations, market basket development, and the development of supplier performance metrics.

Core Competencies:
- Bachelor degree in Business, Economics or other related field, or an equivalent combination of experience, education and training.
- Typically possesses five or more years experience performing statistical analyses.
- Demonstrated knowledge of cost modeling and process mapping.
- Demonstrated experience analyzing contract costs based on historical usage and identification of relevant commodity indices for market comparisons and price trend assessments in support of internal/external requests of contractor price increases, negotiations, and business case development.
- Demonstrated experience preparing reports and presenting recommendations.
- Demonstrated experience utilizing problem solving skills to analyze data and follow through on requests to ensure completion.
- Demonstrated experience developing templates, performing calculations, and analyzing information/data.
- Demonstrated experience performing market analyses utilizing commodity indices, identifying trends, and developing recommendations.
- Demonstrated experience prioritizing and coordinating multiple projects within tight time constraints, while working under pressure and adjusting to changing conditions and priorities.
- Demonstrated experience using SAP to access supply chain data.
- Demonstrated experience producing high-quality products/documents, including accountability for the accuracy and validity of data and assumptions, as well as the integrity and timeliness of the finished project/task.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate evaluations and recommendations both orally and in writing.
- Demonstrated proficiency with PCsoftware including Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Access, and Visio including experience utilizing advanced functions of software tools to perform data analyses.
- Must demonstrate excellent business mastery, including the ability to integrate work across relevant areas, develop the business and services to enhance customer satisfaction and productivity, manage risks and safety appropriately, develop and execute business plans, manage information, and provide exceptional service to internal and external customers.
- Must demonstrate excellent management mastery, including effective resource and project planning, decision making, results delivery, team building, and staying current with relevant technology and innovation.
- Must demonstrate strong personal mastery, including ethics, influence and negotiation, leadership, interpersonal skills, communication and engage in continuous learning.
Comments:
Additional performance testing will be administered as part of the selection process for this position. This posting will result in 2 openings.
