Job: Accountant/Financial Analyst

Grupo Deco is currently seeking an accountant for the corporate office. The basic requirements for this position are a minimum of 3 years of experience in the Accounting and Financial field. BA is required in accounting, finance or any similar trade. The potential candidate also must comply with the following skills:

Personal Skills
¨ Proactive, able to multitask and work under pressure. The potential candidate must be very analytical since he/she will be responsible of analyzing important financial information. A discreet and trustworthy personnel is important for our organization. Grupo Deco encourages teamwork, for that reason, communication and leadership skills are required. The person taking this position must be able to establish and maintain a good office environment.

Professional and Technical Skills
¨ Advance experience with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Access, Word, Outlook and specially Excel). The candidate must be able to input and handle financial data and reports for financial system (QuickBooks Pro). Internet research, accounting software literate is a plus. The potential candidate must be able to prepare, and manage tax return (IRS, payroll, sales), and ability to assist federal agencies for any requirements and audits. Monthly closing reports and procedures must be implemented, financial projections and set financial policies. Establish and follow up of Assets and Investments (new purchases, recommend new investments and appropriate analysis). Perform basic accounting operations as bank reconciliations, general ledger operations and auditing (internal & external). Be able to analyze financial tendencies (expenses and costs). Research, Analysis, Comparison, and Procedures of business insurances. Create and analyze financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement)
