Job: Financial Service Representative

1. Position Purpose and Objectives
Correctly identifies needs of members and potential members; effectively sells appropriate Credit Union products and services while meeting all production goals.

2. Major Duties and Essential Functions
1. Use Service Standards in every work related interaction.
2. Has thorough knowledge of Credit Union, subsidiaries, and Credit Union partnership products/services
3. Develops and maintains proficient selling skills; gathers information for routine reports including sales activity and goal progress reports; assists in goal planning process
4. Meets individual production goals; service goals, and cross sell ratio goal; effectively assists members in determining needs and recommending appropriate products and services;
5. Effectively refers products and services of Credit Union subsidiaries and business partners
6. Assists with outside sales activities as needed; makes telemarketing calls; actively participates in branch administration directed promotions
7. Conducts membership interviews,opens consumer and business accounts, processes and completes consumer loans and all other duties related to consumer and business products and services
8. Performs teller duties as needed.
9. Resolves problems within given authority, researching when necessary.
10.Provides assistance in robbery, security, fraud and disaster situations.
11.Actively participates on branch process improvement teams.

13.Ability to meet inbranch and company deadlines.
14.Performs inbranch administrative duties as assigned; includes assisting with opening and/or closing branch
15. Notary Public license preferred
16.Completes required courses outlined in the Individual Training Plan for this position and completes at least 90% score on tests
17.Completes annual recertification courses and skill based tests with a minimum score of 90%
18.Other duties as necessary to achieve the goals of the Credit Union and the branch.
19.Maintains a working knowledge of BSA laws/regulations applicable to area of responsibility; complies with all BSA laws/regulations.

Specific knowledge, skills, and abilities required for this position
Basic reading and math skills; working knowledge of a variety of financial products/services; working knowledge of related financial laws such as Reg. CC, Bank Secrecy; proficient in typing and computer skills unlcuding MS Word and Excel.

Education: Equivalent to a high school education.

Experience: Up to six months of similar or related experience.
