Job: Car Wash Porter/Detailer

Because our car wash specializes in fast service, Car Wash Attendants must be willing to work quickly and steadily. Teamwork is important!

This position requires previous experience/knowledge of a car wash/detail environment. Candidates should at minimum have previous experience washing/detailing cars and trucks for a car wash, auto body/detail shop or a car dealership. Candidates without this knowledge will not be considered.

Job Summary: Vacuum, dry, window cleaning, dash and console cleaning and other vehicle cleaning, machinery and equipment cleaning. Use such materials as water, cleaning agents, brushes, cloths, and hoses. Must be able to stand for long periods. If assisting/posted at the Car Wash Tunnel, responsibilities require standing at the entrance to the carwash tunnel and use mostly hand signals to direct drivers onto the tunnel conveyor. Must be observant and able to spot potential problem vehicles. Involves use of electronic equipment. Must be able to stand for long periods. We are also looking to staff our Wash Truck which is responsible for ensuring ALL new & pre-owned inventory is clean on a daily basis and looking its best in an efficient and thorough manner.

* Work area is outdoors, on concrete or asphalt, in all weather conditions – cold and hot

*The environment can become hectic with moving traffic and inconsistent volume causing congestion and the need for traffic control

*Must work as a team player and uphold Riverside Metro Auto Group Car Wash standards of professionalism and integrity.

*Must maintain a clean organized work area, pick up trash, cigarette butts, wet towels, remove plastics and protective films from vehicles,

*Must apply high standards of employee conduct. Those standards include reliability, promptness, courtesy, appearance, and professional behavior.
*Must be able to put forth the best interest of the business and customer above their own

MUST have a CLEAN driving record.
MUST know how to drive both manual and automatic transmission vehicles
