Jobing Description
Children's Bureau currently seeks a two qualified candidate's for our Day Treatment Program in Lancaster, California. The Child Development Specialist will be responsible for facilitating milieu activities, providing therapeutic interventions in accordance with the children's Day Treatment plans, and for providing supervision and oversight of severely emotionally disturbed 3-6 year old children in the DT program. Must transport clients to and from the program in agency vehicles as assigned. Must also participate as a member of a treatment team.
Skills / Requirements
BA or BS in a Mental Health related field, 4 or more years experience working with S.E.D. children in a mental health setting, ability to work in a multi-cultural environment, must demonstrate ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, must maintain a valid California driver's license and insurable driving record, must be available to attend required training activities on various topics relevant to job performance as identified by supervisor and program management.
