Job: Certified Home Health Aide ; CHHA

Here at Chapman Hospice, we believe that our goal is to provide the highest Quality of life possible to the terminally ill patient when the Quantity or duration of life is limited.

We are currently seeking Certified Home Health Aides (CHHA's) to join our caring staff. The CHHA would provide routine nursing care in accordance with our established policies and procedure, and as may be directed by the Hospice Nurse, Director of Nursing, or Administrator, to assure that the highest degree of quality patient care can be maintained at all times.

Posess at least a high school diploma

Be certified as a home health aide

No experience necessary. On-the-job training provided

Posess a sincere desire to serve the ill, and infirm

Be able to read, write and speak the English language

Posess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrants such action

Posess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, patients, family members, visitors, and the genereal public

Be a minimum of 18 years of age

Willingness to work harmoniously with other personnel

Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as be willing to handle patients based on whatever maturity level they are currently functioning.

Posess the ability to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing nursing practices
