Job: Truck Helper

Job Duties:

Assists truck driver on routes in safely loading and unloading donated goods; ensures the truck has necessary hand trucks and tie-down equipment; and assists the driver in map reading, locating pick up points and assisting when driver is backing up or in cases of low or close clearances.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED preferred but not required. No experience required; training will be provided. Ability to communicate effectively in English to understand work instructions and to interact with co-workers and customers. Ability to operate a hand truck, and work with minor tools/equipment, i.e. pallet jack, wheeled carts, etc. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (lifting up to 100 pounds may be required with assistance). Overtime required during peak periods.
