Job: Site Supervisor

We are currently looking to hire a Site Supervisor for one of our Southern California locations. The qualified candidate must be able to adapt to a fast paced environment and ensure customer satisfaction.

If hired, this candidate will conduct the following duties including but not limited to:

Manage Drivers including MRT and Line Division

Manage Yardmen

Dispatch Drivers including MRT and Line Division

Equipment Maintenance

Effectively communicate with our customers Senior Management

Perform Administrative Duties

Develop, implement and maintain policies and procedures

Provide Logistics Support 24/7 with reliable on time delivery

If and when necessary, move company tractor/trailers

Must have 3-5 years experience as a Dispatcher

Able to comply with OSHA regulations and FMCSR

Ability to meet daily and weekly deadlines

Highly Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

Capable of utilizing Google Earth and TMS (Transportation Optimization) for geographical purposes

Ability to prioritize and make independent decisions

Dispatch to established delivery requirements

Enter shipment information into IT systems, tools and database

Track Line Haul Loads and effectively communicate to Temple Inland Customer Service and Temple Inland Management of late delivery concerns

Ensure all dedicated MRT equipment is properly maintained including trucks, trailers and converter gear

Work with the Director of Safety to insure compliance

Bilingual in English and Spanish is required

Ability to effectively communicate in English both written and verbal form
