Position Description:
- Coordinate QA offshore / onshore team efforts for the assigned initiative.
- Work concurrently on several projects, each with specific instructions that may differ from project to project.
- Ensure that quality processes are carried out through all phases of the Software development lifecycle.
- Work with business partners, systems analyst, designers and programmers to create/analyze required project documents and ensures that quality assurance processes are incorporated.
- Participate in analysis and design walk throughs, as well as project meetings.
- Estimate quality assurance effort on approved projects.
- Develop and implement efficient and effective testing strategy, test conditions and test scripts for approved projects.
- Manage towards results, by process, with facts and with continuous process improvement in mind.
- Work with others through coaching and mentoring to ensure tasks are completed on time.
- Work with project team to identify risks if quality assurance process is not followed.
- Coach, mentor and assist with testing as needed.
- Own and manage test environments and processes.
- Work with process improvement teams to ensure effective process improvements are implemented.
- Ensure process improvements are documented and incorporated in the quality assurance process.

Skills / Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree required
- 5+ years of Quality Assurance/Testing experience
- 5+ years of relational database experience
- 2+ years of Quality Assurance Team Leadership experience
- 5+ years of experience with Quality Assurance testing tools
- 5+ years of experience with all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Assets:
- Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) experience
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access)
- Proficiency with MS Visio
- Healthcare Industry experience
