Reach Out West End is a not-for-profit substance abuse prevention agency serving the Inland Empire area of west San Bernardino County, California. Reach Out was founded in 1969 as a drop-in center where youth and adults could find assistance for drug addictions. The center also included a diversion program for court-ordered drug offenders.
Through the years, Reach Out extended its service to include prevention programs, smoking cessation and information outreach for the greater West End community. Programming at Reach Out now includes a variety of prevention interventions designed to reduce experimentation and abuse of harmful substances among youth. Our community partners include three different school districts, two Chambers of Commerce, thirty other community based organizations, the cities of Montclair, Ontario, Upland and Rancho Cucamonga, and San Bernardino County’s Department of Behavioral Health.
Reach Out receives funding from federal block grants administered by San Bernardino County, the Chaffey Joint Union High School District, several local foundations and service organizations, and individual donors.
