The National Association of African Americans in Human Resources is a national organization concerned with improving the professional development of African American Human Resources professionals, consultants, and students.

What is NAAAHR?

The focus of the organization is to serve as a network, resource, and forum for African American Human Resource professionals. The Los Angeles chapter is comprised of Human Resources professionals in the Greater LA area.

The LA Chapter is positioning itself to become the recognized leader, voice, and conscience shaping issues that concern African Americans in the workplace.

Our Purpose is to

Provide professional development which informs and advances professional development of African American Human Resource practitioners
Serve as a resource for African Americans in developing a career in Human Resources
Provide a platform for educating and discussing Human Resource business trends
Provide opportunities to develop leadership skills by volunteering for a leadership role
