Blog Post: I know you're great!

One of the things I love to see on a resume submitted for a position at Jobing.com is achievements.  Often times we get caught up in simply creating a list of tasks that we performed at our previous employer/s.  While this is a good way to give a basic understanding of the responsibilites associated with your role, it is much more impactful to see the things you did to make a positive impact on the company you worked for.

Great things you can talk about include:

How much did you grow sales by in a given time frame?

Did you somehow improve upon client satisfaction ratings?

Perhaps you reduced turnover.

You did a lot of cool things.  This is your opportunity to really advocate on your own behalf and help a hiring manager like myself get more excited to meet you.  As we say in my home State of Kansas, "It ain't braggin' if it's fact."  Just be sure you can back up any claims with proof if it is requested.  :)
