The "Wellness Employer of the Year" and "Disability Friendly Employer of the Year" awards will be given at the 2009 Southern California Health Care Summit in order to recognize employer leadership in key areas promoting health within their communities. Providing a positive and healthy work environment is crucial for the betterment of the community and economy. These atmospheres are created by employers who are willing to take proactive initiative and interest in the welfare of their employees in a variety of ways.
