Working Wardrobes and the OC Restaurant Association have launched a dining benefit event – Summer Sizzle. Participating restaurants will donate 10 percent of its proceeds to Working Wardrobes when clients dine at specified establishments from July 19 – 25 during Working Wardrobes’ inaugural Summer Sizzle event.

Working Wardrobes empowers men, women and young adults in crises to confidently enter the workforce with career development and wardrobing services. Each year Working Wardrobes serves more than 5,000 clients from a wide spectrum of backgrounds including Welfare-to-Work, alcohol and substance abuse, domestic violence, transitional homelessness, catastrophic illness and other life crises.

“Working Wardrobes greatly appreciates the OC Restaurant Association and its members’ generous offer to donate proceeds during this event,” said Marilen Coughenour, Board Chair of Working Wardrobes. “All of these local businesses demonstrate a strong commitment of social responsibility through its work with charity, and we are pleased and excited that they have chosen to assist us with our mission to help those in need.”
