Blog Post: Liveblogging ASTD-Orange County's meeting with Futurist Wayne Hodgins.

1. We had a close-knit community of workplace learning and performance professionals stop by the DoubleTree Club Hotel in Santa Ana for some networking, dining, and exposure to new perspectives.
2. Presenter Wayne Hodgins called in live from Orlando, Florida, and conducted a pseudo-webinar for ASTD-OC members and their guests.  He shared insights that covered a broad spectrum of how the world is rapidly developing content that is customized for individual customers as opposed to broad market niches and stereotyped categorizations.
3. During the presentation, ASTD-OC member Mel Aclaro, Web Content Guy and Online Communities Advocate, liveblogged the event. 
4. During his liveblog, Mel picked up some Twitter followers from an ASTD Chapter in Texas, who had just had a Learning Event facilitated by another futurist, and were interested in Wayne's insights.  So they followed Mel's liveblog.

Basically, what started as a local Southern California event, through the usage of multiple technologies, spanned the country.
