Blog Post: 51st PIHRA Conference... We are here! Where are you?

As we have been talking about this last week the 51st annual PIHRA conference is going on today and tomorrow at the Long Beach convention center. The doors just open and it's going to be a great day. For our part and by that I mean Jobing, we have a huge booth all done up like a cute and comfy community that we are... But small it;s not... We';vie got park benches to watch videos on, a water fountain in middle of our booth surrounded by Adirondack chairs, a photo shoot booth(with fun and silly props!) Our famous Jobing cars AND we've GOT THE BOSS on Cookie baking detail! The cookies are actually one of our other famous calling cards! Yummy! And the whole hall smells of fresh backed cookies... but that's our hallmark... we are community - YOU'RE COMMUNITY! :)

But there is work to be done.. I mean this is the biggest HR conference in California. In fact if your reading this and you are in HR or looking to break in get down here. Everyone who's anyone in HR is here, plus there are great sessions and speakers throughout the day. You know how I feel about networking - so once again - this is a great opportunity. One the keynote addresses is Michael R. Losey, whose talking about Strategic Leadership and the Art of Touching Lives. He's also the past president of SHRM (society for human resources management) That's just one of many great speakers and presenters.

Oh gotta go.. The cookies are calling.. Shoot there goes the diet!!
