    Jobing.com, the nation’s largest, locally-focused online recruitment media provider, has announced Peter Difilippantonio as the new general manager of the Houston office.  Jobing.com serves some 18 major metropolitan areas in eight states, including Houston, Dallas and Fort Worth in Texas, with the mission of connecting organizations and local people through an online employment community.  Peter joined Jobing.com in July 2000 as the company's seventh employee.  He began his career as an Inside Sales Representative and moved into the position of Inside Sales Manager in 2003, where he was responsible for assisting in the recruitment, training and retention of the Phoenix sales team.


    As Jobing.com continued to grow, Peter established the company's first Client Services department and developed the processes for client service being used today.  In 2004, Peter relocated to Fort Lauderdale to assist in the launch of the South Florida market and assist with the integration of a local site acquisition.  In 2005 he returned to the Phoenix office and served as the Director of Sales Training, where he was responsible for the training and development of hundreds of Jobing.com sales and service team members.  In 2006, Peter was named Vice President of Client Services, managing client service teams in each of the company's local markets and where he forged new paths in great client service and retention.

    Peter is a 6-year veteran of the United States Navy where he served as a Nuclear Engineer and as a member of the Reactor Training Team. He is an avid SCUBA diver and has taken the plunge all over the World. Peter earned his Bachelor's Degree in Management from Ottawa University, is a Master Graduate of Rapport Leadership International, and has attended executive education programs at the University of Wisconsin and Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
