About the The San Diego Committee on Employment of People With Disabilities is an organization that advocates and promotes employment opportunities for people with disabilities through community action, education and collaboration with community agencies, government agencies and private companies. SDCEPD was founded in 1999 as a part of the Govenor’s Committee on Employment of People with Disabilities. As a result of new legislation and the establishment of One Stop Centers, Workforce Partnership and other Agencies, the Afflilated Local Committees on Employment of People with Disabilities were divested from the Govenor’s committee in 2005.
