Job: Groundskeeper

Essex Property Trust, Inc., is a fully integrated real estate investment trust (REIT) that acquires, develops, redevelops and manages multi family properties in selected West Coast communities. Currently Essex has ownership interests in 133 multi family properties and an employee population of 930. Our corporate office is located in Palo Alto, California with regional offices in Southern California and in Washington State.

We are looking for a Groundskeeper to join our team!

POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for all phases of the property’s physical appearance including cleanliness and curb appeal. Physical upkeep of the property to include policing the grounds, cleaning and odor control of trash areas, common area floor care, trash removal from vacated apartments, cleaning of walkways, stairwells, mailbox areas, carports, some common area painting, to include model upkeep, as well as some vacant apartment cleaning. Some light maintenance duties.

No technical ability required. Some custodial or apartment experience helpful. Must have good communication skills. Able to complete scheduled, routine tasks quickly and efficiently without supervision. Familiar with safe use of basic tools.
