Job: Clinical Lab Scientist

Position Summary:
Performs a wide menu of tests related to patient care, verifies results and reports these within the policy and procedure criteria set within the department. Has direct and immediate responsibility for own work and in those instances in which the Clinical Laboratory Scientist works alone, he or she is considered the department supervisor at the moment.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college
Experience: Two years experience in a hospital setting preferred
Training: One year internship, prerequisite to the State Exam
License / Certification: Current California license for Clinical Laboratory Scientist
Knowledge/skills/abilities: Excellent oral and written communication skills
