If you know someone, they know someone else. Someone else knows someone somewhere. Soon enough, the someone somewhere connected to you from the someone you know who knows someone else who knows that someone somewhere gets you a job someplace. Someone in that situation would certainly be a happy someone. Networking: its where someone helps you.
